Choristers involved in Christmas rock single

Branching out from their usual repertoire, this week the Choristers feature in a Christmas single and video by prog rock band Big Big Train. The video, partly filmed in Jesus College Chapel, can be viewed here.

Richard Pinel, the Director of Music, said: "Working with a prog rock band was a new departure for our choristers, and the process was lots of fun. Although we spend most of our time with traditional choral music, many of the musical skills that our choristers develop are transferable to other genres of music."

The single is officially released on Friday 8th December, and every sale will include a donation to the Night Stop homelessness charity. The single will be available online, and from Fopp Records Cambridge.
